Information Age Education Campaign
The Information Age is changing our lives. Business, civic life, education, and communities have been profoundly affected by the Internet. In an effort to help adults participate and attain economic self-sufficiency, the City of Seattle and CTTAB have created a PowerPoint presentation called the Information Age Education Campaign.
The presentation is an outreach tool that targets under-served communities and encourages them to learn to use computers and the Internet. Its target audiences include low-income communities, seniors, immigrant communities, the computer-phobic, and those who, for whatever reason, have not been able to take advantage of new technology. It is an introduction to basic communications tools and free or almost-free training.
The presentation is meant for free distribution. You are invited to sponsor a presentation to your group. You are also invited to become a presenter. If you would like to get involved or need more information, please contact Cass Magnuski. Feel free to download the presentation, instructor's text, and definitions list below.
