Parks and the Friends of Jackson Park Trail are working on completing a work plan and will put out a Request for Qualifications for a Professional Design Firm. Once a Design Firm is hired, the community process to design the new trail will begin.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Friends of Jackson Park Trail applied for and were awarded a Small and Simple matching fund from the Department of Neighborhoods in 2009. The community will work with the Parks Department and a Design Professional to develop a more refined design and plan for the implementation of a loop trail at Jackson Park.
