ABOUT THE BOARDThe Seattle Board of Park Commissioners is a volunteer advisory board
established by ordinance. The Board consults with and makes recommendations
to City Council, the Mayor, and the Superintendent regarding the Parks
and Recreation Department's policies for the planning, development and
use of the City's park and recreation facilities. PUBLIC MEETINGSThe Board of Park Commissioners meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month. Beginning in July 2012, the regular meeting date for the Board of Park Commissioners will be the second Thursday of each month. The next Park Board meeting will be held Thursday May 10,
2012 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting is held in the Park Board Room
in the Seattle Parks and Recreation administration building in Denny
Park at 100 Dexter Ave N.

PUBLIC HEARING TOPICSThe Park Board will hold a public hearing on the pilot program of non-tennis activity on tennis courts.
