Thornton Creek Long Walk

Saturday, June 14th from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Take an urban hike through Seattle’s largest watershed. Even in urban settings, nature persists beneath our feet and in front of our eyes. Explore the ecology, history, and current issues of Seattle's largest watershed by walking the entire length of this diverse creek. The South Fork Long Walk begins at Northgate Mall and ends at Matthews Beach Park on Lake Washington, a five mile hike. Contact (206) 526-0187 to sign-up for this free walk.

Make 'Em And Race 'Em Car Derby

Wednesday, June 25th from  3 - 7 p.m.
Join us for a fun-filled event with your little ones. We will build our race cars and have heats based on ages. Crafts and items available for use to build and decorate your racing beauty!

Activity Fee: $5 per entry

Fun for Five Green Screens
Wednesdays 6 - 8:30 p.m.
Family movie time is back! Have an afternoon of fun for the whole family. Each movie is a family friendly environmental film that includes a themed craft project.

7/9 FERNGULLY
The magical inhabitants of a rainforest called FernGully fight to save their home that is threatened by logging and a polluting force of destruction called Hexxus. Craft: litter bug.

8/6 HOOT
A young man moves from Montana to Florida with his family, where he's compelled to engage in a fight to protect a population
of endangered owls.
Craft: owl mask.

8/27 THE RESCUERS: DOWN UNDER
The RAS agents, Miss Bianca and Bernard, race to Australia to save a boy and a rare golden eagle from a murderous poacher.
Craft: Rain stick.
