four years ago. The Mayor, volunteers from the Friends of Northacres Park,
the Haller Lake community club, Northacres Dog Off-Leash Area, North Seattle
Alliance Church and city work crews came together to clear blackberry bushes,
pick up trash, and clean up the area around Northacres Park and Haller Lake.

“Over the past four years, I’ve had the honor to roll my
sleeves up with more than 5,500 people who gave up a part of their Saturday
to make a difference in their neighborhoods,” Mayor Nickels said. “That
spirit of commitment and community is what makes Seattle such a beautiful
place to live.”
Mayor Nickels was presented a comprehensive map listing
